Hi hi! I’m Georgia, the artist behind Patent Pending Ceramics, and I began making earrings on a whim a few years ago after buying a bag of porcelain clay. I started by experimenting with blue and white designs and glaze combinations. People actually liked them, so I started selling a few and then a few more. Now, here we are.
If you’re wondering about the process, I handmake each pair of earrings in Coastal Mississippi. They are kiln-fired twice (three times if they have gold detailing), which makes them both strong and light (I won’t wear heavy earrings myself.)
